Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Product & Technology department at Tecsys Inc. This role involves actively participating in scrum team project planning, design discussions, and agile meetings. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in testing planning and experience in software quality assurance with involvement in automated testing of web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define acceptance criteria and testing strategies with the scrum team.
  • Create test scenarios and perform manual or automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests.
  • Setup, configure, and maintain automated testing scripts in a continuous integration setting.
  • Deliver reusable, modular tests for targeted components, as well as web and mobile applications.
  • Maintain test scenario and automated tests and their accompanying documentation.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate diploma in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 5 years of work experience as a QA analyst.
  • Significant experience in software quality assurance with involvement in automated testing of web applications.
  • Experience developing automated tests (Selenium, Katalon).
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL Server.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML5 would be a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
