Job Title: Office Manager

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager to join our team in Goderich, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, service providers, and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records through Point Click Care, our electronic health record system
  • Prepare and submit monthly billings to residents, government agencies, and other third parties for payment processing
  • Disburse, balance, and replenish facility petty cash funds and administer trust accounts for residents in accordance with the Nursing Homes Act
  • Prepare bank deposits and complete reconciliations for accounts
  • Apply the rate reduction application process for residents
  • Manage accounts receivable and collections, as well as process vendor payables
  • Perform payroll duties, including data entry and preparing payroll for submission
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Accounting, or a related field
  • Post-secondary education related to payroll administration or related experience is an asset
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position with working knowledge of general office operations
  • Experience in Long Term Care with utilization of Point Click Care is an asset but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional time management skills
