Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our Private Enterprise Tax practice, you will play a critical role in providing tax planning and compliance services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead client engagements and work closely with Partners on tax planning initiatives and requirements.
- Direct the work of junior staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.
- Research and prepare tax-planning strategies for clients and lead on the preparation of tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax planning and compliance strategies for clients.
- Provide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staff.
- Collaborate with other office members to attract new work to the firm.
- 5 years' experience in a public accounting firm, with at least 3 years in a dedicated Tax role.
- Professional Accounting Designation.
- Completed, or nearly completed, the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth.
- Excellent client service skills with the ability to understand clients' businesses.
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties.
- Emphasis on quality and adding value in client offerings and services.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting demands and priorities.
- Ability to give others the opportunity to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to instill enthusiasm in others to achieve desired results.
- Ability to provide persuasive and self-assured responses to challenging questions.
