Your Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Vancouver International Tax team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing tax services to our clients, including our growing public company division.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tax services to clients, including tax planning, compliance, and controversy matters.
- Develop and maintain a sound understanding of taxation concepts and apply knowledge to situations affecting clients.
- Propose practical and innovative tax solutions to clients and draw relevant conclusions.
- Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
- Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.
Requirements
- Canadian CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax.
- 5+ years of experience in the public accounting industry specializing in Tax.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Canadian and International Tax.
- Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate tax compliance and planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
What We Offer
BDO offers a competitive salary range of $89,000 to $135,000, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
