Mental Health and Addiction Services Team Lead

Reporting to the Manager, the Team Lead coordinates and supervises the operation of community-based mental & addiction services programs that deliver mental health & addiction assessment, treatment, and disposition planning to clients and their families with mental health disorders across the lifespan.
The Team Lead ensures and oversees provision of comprehensive services to this target population, liaising with local inpatient, outpatient and community-based services and agencies as well as with inpatient mental health units to promote consistency and continuity of patient care.
The Team Lead provides clinical supervision/support to a multi-disciplinary team and ongoing and extensive clinical supervision to new clinicians and clinicians with little experience within this specialty as part of recruitment and retention strategies.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill this critical role. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy or Clinical Therapists from an acceptable educational institution, and be licensed with the applicable body (NSCSW, NSBEP or NSCOT).
The successful candidate will have five years' experience with Mental Health & Addictions intervention, providing evidence-based therapeutic intervention to Mental Health & Addictions clients, and ensuring all clinical staff provide effective and evidence-based treatment modalities.
The candidate will also identify areas for service improvement and facilitate and evaluate quality initiatives, draft Standard Operating Procedures, orientation materials and other guidelines for care, and provide clinical leadership and supervision to the multi-disciplinary team and ongoing and extensive clinical oversight to new clinicians and clinicians with little experience within this specialty.
Competencies in other languages are an asset, with French being preferred.
HoursThis is a long assignment full-time position, with 75 hours biweekly, approximately 15 months, with dates subject to change. Travel to various sites may be required.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
The hourly rate for this position is $44.36 - $51.72, depending on experience and qualifications.
