Executive Chef for Permanent Position at The Masala Bay

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Masala Bay. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation in all dishes.
About the Role- As our ideal candidate, you will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- You will be required to inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Kitchen Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure timely ordering and restocking.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, including floors, equipment, and utensils, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Leadership: Manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff, managing budgets, and making decisions on menu planning and pricing.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and benefits that include relocation costs covered by the employer and a 35-hour workweek.
