Forge Recruitment is a boutique recruitment agency specializing in legal placements. Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking a skilled Family Law Clerk to support their Durham Region office.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Family Law Clerk to manage litigation files, draft documents, and maintain files. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Ontario family law procedures and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage family law litigation files from start to finish with supervision
* Draft all necessary documents and correspondence
* Maintain physical and electronic files
* Liaise with external clients
* Prepare reporting letters and handle other matters as required

Requirements

* 10+ years of experience as a Family Law Clerk
* Strong knowledge of Ontario family law litigation procedures and related legislation
* Graduate from a Law Clerk diploma
* Highly meticulous, resourceful, organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven with excellent ability to work independently with minimal supervision
