About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Procure to Pay business solutions team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing SAP solutions to support our Procure to Pay business function
  • Working with senior business leaders to develop a deep understanding of strategy, process, and business needs
  • Developing SAP roadmaps, strategy, and budgets to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Working with 3rd party providers to ensure SAP solutions meet business requirements and follow SAP best practice
  • Hands-on architecting and designing SAP solutions to meet specific business requirements
  • Determining the optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, operational perspectives
  • Ensuring integrity of all solutions in the Procure to Pay space through appropriate testing and quality assurance practices
  • Assisting with the prioritization of demand items in the P2P space
  • Accountable for optimized SAP solution delivery, both planning and execution
  • Recruiting, developing, and mentoring team members

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 10 years practical experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior lead role either directly or indirectly leading a team of SAP professionals
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical school in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or related equivalent
  • Proven leader that can build and lead a high performing team
  • Hands on functional experience working in the following SAP applications/modules: S/4HANA, MM, IM
  • Proven track record of successful SAP implementations as a Lead Architect
  • History of designing complex SAP solutions to enable unique business processes
  • Proven ability of SAP delivery planning, including milestone planning, resource assignment, and securing budget
  • Experience in SAP development estimation and best practices in solution delivery
  • Strategic and flexible thinker who can implement timely and workable solutions in a developing and dynamic environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong presentation skills with experience presenting and fielding questions from senior leaders
  • Ability to interact with all levels of business stakeholders, from executive to field staff
  • Willingness to learn, teach, and share information with teammates, peers, management, and users
  • Outcome driven
