Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Multimodal Healthcare Data Scientist to join our team as a Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, you will play a key part in developing our multimodal foundation models, which integrate diverse healthcare data sources such as imaging, electronic health records (EHR), and genomics.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop machine learning models that integrate and harmonize multiple data types, including imaging, EHR, and genomic data into powerful multimodal foundation models.
- Collaborate with data engineering and scientific teams to establish data workflows that ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance, supporting robust model training and testing.
- Work cross-functionally to align model development with clinical objectives and regulatory standards.
- Implement responsible AI practices, including bias detection, fairness evaluation, and safety checks, to ensure that models align with ethical and regulatory standards in healthcare.
- D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field with a strong foundation in applied machine learning.
- ~3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with demonstrated expertise in multimodal data or healthcare applications.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with key machine learning libraries and frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
- Strong understanding of multimodal data fusion, feature engineering, and model architecture for scalable applications in clinical and research settings.
- Experience working with healthcare or biomedical data (e.EHRs, imaging, genomics) and familiarity with healthcare data privacy and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, scientific rigor, and a collaborative approach to working within a cross-functional team.
- An estimated salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
