Financial Analytics Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions and drive growth.

About the Role:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
  • Develop and implement predictive models to forecast financial performance and optimize business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders through effective storytelling and visualizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the bank remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and research methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
