Agropur is seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for building and executing an effective production plan and schedule to meet demand, while achieving superior customer service at optimal cost.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute short and mid-term production plans to drive service levels above defined targets at the lowest possible cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including S&OP, Logistics, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and apply AOS techniques to enhance production planning and performance.
- Lead and be accountable for production planning activities as part of the integrated business planning process (IBP).
- Develop and implement production planning and scheduling rules to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage short-term and long-term manufacturing capacity and contribute to the review of the Capacity to Demand ratio.
- 5-7 years of experience in a Supply and Production Planning role or similarly related experience within Supply Chain Planning (Demand Planning, Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning, etc.) in a CPG environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to benchmark best practices and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, production planning, and inventory management methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
