Job Title: Recruitment Specialist

Nu-Way Personnel Inc. is seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staffing team, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 35 hours per week.
