Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely information to management.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed and that customer demand is met.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment: Noisy, odours, hot.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, physically demanding.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, dependability.
