Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate RN to provide nursing care to our patients in a long-term care setting. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct patient and family education, and provide support and guidance as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to apply decision-making and analytical skills
- Ability to deal with others effectively
- Ability to role model conflict resolution strategies
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
