Job Title: Lead Acid Battery Assembler

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Acid Battery Assembler to join our team at Westex International. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging lead acid batteries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test lead acid batteries to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Operate machinery to fabricate plates for lead acid storage batteries
  • Load machinery with glass tubes, bulbs, and other parts to produce light bulbs and tubes
  • Remove and package finished products
  • Check in-process and completed production for visual or mechanical defects
  • Operate testing equipment to maintain quality of products
Work Environment:

Our production facility is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
