We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team at Pratt & Whitney. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including troubleshooting and implementing new advanced technology solutions for our manufacturing line.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the continuous improvement team to identify and implement process improvements
- Participate in quality events and lead on actions to drive continuous improvement
- Prepare and support technologies for new capital equipment acquisitions, including business case development and CAD drawing creation
- Communicate designs and provide guidance on fabricating components with outside vendors
- Collaborate with the technical team to evaluate and implement closed-door technology strategies
- Be eligible to work in Canada
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship
- Be able to work on-site in the province where hired
- Independent, self-motivated, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated understanding of CAD packages is an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong project management skills
- Commitment to EH&S, production, and quality objectives
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
This is a full-time onsite position, and we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
