As a Senior DataStage Developer at Royal Bank of Canada, you will be part of a dynamic team that leverages cutting-edge technologies to deliver innovative solutions. You will work on designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using DataStage and other ETL tools. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our data processing systems.

What will you do?

  • Design and develop complex data integration solutions using DataStage and other ETL tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data integration strategies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to data integration.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Hands-on experience with DataStage and other ETL tools.
  • Strong understanding of data integration concepts, including data mapping, data transformation, and data loading.
  • Experience with database management systems, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Java, Python, or other languages relevant to data integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
