About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DataStage Developer to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Data Services Canada team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex data integration solutions using IBM Infosphere DataStage and QualityStage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop ETL processes using DataStage and QualityStage
  • Develop and maintain complex database queries and stored procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage and QualityStage
  • Strong understanding of database query performance tuning and optimization
  • Experience with Java technologies, including Spring Boot and Spring Batch
  • Knowledge of messaging-based applications, such as Kafka and MQ
  • Experience with containerization and DevOps/automation methods/tools, such as Docker and Openshift
