Configuration Manager

Marketers on Demand is seeking a skilled Configuration Manager to join our team in the GTA. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for defining and managing the Service Asset and Configuration Management policy and processes for our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement configuration management plans, processes, and standards to ensure IT infrastructure is up-to-date.
- Oversee the Configuration and Asset Management operation, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and agree on interfaces with change management, problem management, network management, release management, computer operations, logistics, finance, and administration functions.
- Monitor the population of the asset register and configuration management database, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Develop and maintain the configuration management policy and process, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Evaluate changes to the database and perform change management based on information received, assessing the quality of requests for change.
Requirements:
- Relevant IT technical field and service management experience.
- Working experience using ServiceNow or similar software.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management, including database design and architecture.
