Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager to join our team at Executive Talent on Demand. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for defining and managing the Service Asset and Configuration Management policy and processes for our client in the GTA.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Configuration Management Planning: Develop and implement configuration management plans, processes, and standards to ensure effective management of IT assets.
  2. Asset Management: Oversee the configuration and asset management operation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all service assets and IT infrastructure.
  3. Interface Management: Collaborate with various functions, including change management, problem management, network management, release management, computer operations, logistics, finance, and administration, to propose and agree on interfaces.
  4. Database Management: Monitor the population of the asset register and configuration management database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  5. Policy and Process Management: Take responsibility for the configuration management policy and process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  6. Change Evaluation: Control and manage the database, performing change evaluation based on information received, assessing the quality of requests for change.
Requirements
  1. Relevant Experience: Possess relevant IT technical field and service management experience, with a strong background in configuration management.
  2. Technical Skills: Working experience using ServiceNow or similar software, with hands-on experience with configuration management, database design, and architecture.
