Intermediate Systems Engineer

Thales is seeking an experienced Intermediate Systems Engineer to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing system engineering support throughout the project execution cycle, from specification to acceptance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and tailor the system engineering process, practices, and tools to meet project requirements.
- Estimate and decompose work to ensure timely and accurate status updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure designs are consistent with end-user needs and concerns.
- Support the development of verification and validation artifacts, including plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with other functions during implementation and integration of system and subsystem designs.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or equivalent education with relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the design and integration of complex systems in commercial and/or military domains.
- Proven ability to succeed in cross-functional/multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to obtain clearances as specified under the Regulatory Compliance section.
