Executive Vice President of Operations

Higher Talent Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead our organization towards operational excellence. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for steering the organization towards maximum performance, accountability, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Operations and Crew teams to foster maximum performance, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Ensure a strong culture of safety throughout the organization, backed by a robust and tested Safety Management System (SMS) and Vessel Management System (VMS) that meets or exceeds all regulatory standards.
- Evaluate and enhance operational processes to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure technical decision-making for effective vessel maintenance and capital improvements.
- Approve and manage budgets for all vessels in consultation with Fleet Manager, Business Analyst, CFO, and CEO.
- Maintain or establish relationships with contractors, suppliers, cold storage managers, and other contractors to maximize benefits from these relationships, and to support and foster the organization's brand.
- Previous certification as Captain or Chief Engineer, or Degree from a recognized university in a relevant field of study.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize operational performance while ensuring long-term sustainability.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
