The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a skilled and compassionate Victim Services Navigator to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in delivering the Provincial Victim Services Program, ensuring that victims of crime receive the support and services they need.
Primary Accountabilities- Provide information and support services to victims of crime, acting as a liaison between victims and justice personnel.
- Maintain a caseload of highly sensitive files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in client information.
- Liaise with Crown, Police, Correctional Services, and community organizations to develop, deliver, and enhance services.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Relevant experience includes providing client services in the community, client assessment and interviewing techniques, case management, and computer skills.
