Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Service Director to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA). As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of high-quality respiratory therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of respiratory therapists and support staff to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Service Delivery
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of respiratory therapy services.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
  • Operational Management
    • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of healthcare services.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
    • Minimum of five years of recent, relevant experience in respiratory therapy, including supervisory experience.
  • Certifications and Registrations
    • Current registration with the Medical Association of Registered Respiratory Therapists (MARRT).
    • Current membership in the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT).
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Working Conditions

This position requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
