Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Weld Reliability Technician to join our team. As a Weld Reliability Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of welds in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Operate equipment such as weld destructive testing machines
  • Perform mig weld cuts and measure weld cross sections
  • Report non-conforming parts in a timely manner
  • Complete weld inspection reports and use weld database
  • Initiate corrective action for non-compliance
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Perform weld inspections for studies and trials
  • Understand and apply PPAP and correlation studies
  • Use ultrasonic weld inspection tester and perform annual layout inspections
Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience inspecting and testing welds
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to follow direction and work independently
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as plasma cutting and using a push-out machine
  • Ability to use Jaws of Life, cut-off saw, grinder, and polisher
