About the Role

Glyco Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our drywall installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality drywall installations.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet the highest standards of construction.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Supervise other workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work hours: 35 hours per week.
