Overview

At Teranet Inc., we are seeking an experienced Production Support Specialist: Systems Analyst to join our Application and Database Support Team.

About the Role

This is a key position that will be responsible for ensuring system availability, managing production environment incidents, problem management, and root cause analysis. You will also be involved in implementing changes and releases to the production environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure system availability through incident and problem investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution.
  • Promote and manage application changes and releases to production.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for application support.
  • Create and maintain application support scripts such as startup/shutdown scripts.
  • Manage production system change requests for patching and monitoring changes.
  • Conduct regular disaster recovery exercises, application system password changes, and SSL certificate renewals.
  • Perform basic application testing for post-promotion infrastructure changes.
  • Implementation and support of updated software applications in a production environment.
  • Work closely with business teams to analyze and triage production issues.
  • Manage and coordinate at a local and international level where required.
