About the Role

As a Senior IT Solutions Architect at CDW, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading technology solutions provider to business, government, education, and healthcare organizations across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and understand the sales environment, including customer expectations, competitive environment, and the customer's technical environment.
  • Define actions to be performed in the sales cycle timeframe.
  • Act as a Principal Architect within the Cyber Security Practice and the wider Solutions group.
  • Support the development of the team and the wider department by contributing to team projects and helping junior team members achieve their own career aspirations.
  • Develop and maintain your own skills and knowledge through research, self-guided learning, lab time, and formal training/accreditation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years in an IT consulting or senior IT operations role or within a technical pre-sales capacity or similar role with experience in designing complex solutions for a range and size of customers, within different verticals.
  • Great understanding of the Cyber Security Market and key areas such as Endpoint Security (EDR / MDR), Cloud Security, Secure Access (SWG / CASB), IdAM, SIEM, Data Governance, Advisory Services, and Managed Security Services.
  • Strong capabilities with at least two top-tier security vendors, such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Crowdstrike, Zscaler, Fortinet, Splunk, Check Point, or F5.
  • Good knowledge in other security vendors such as Netskope, Mimecast, Proofpoint, Beyondtrust, CyberArk, Sophos, Okta, and Microsoft.
  • Extensive security architecture knowledge and experience in planning, implementation, testing, creation, and rollout of security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills (including technical writing and presentations) with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, both internally and externally.
  • Self-starter, flexible, adaptable, highly organized, and proactive, does not require micro-management.
  • Security Vendor Accreditations will be advantageous.
