Key Responsibilities
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Assess client needs and recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services
  • Deliver sales presentations and prepare sales contracts
  • Use sales forecasting software and conduct sales transactions through electronic commerce
  • Provide input into product design and offer ongoing support to clients
  • Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Resolve product and service related problems and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists and estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or services
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the industrial equipment industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Experience with sales forecasting software and database management
  • Programming skills and knowledge of presentation software
Work Environment

A CLASS TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR LTD is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be required to work in a physically demanding environment and meet tight deadlines. You will also be required to travel to client sites and attend sales meetings.
