About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Erie Beach Hotel Limited.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure dishes, glassware, and flatware are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Store cleaned dishes and utensils in designated areas.
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping food items.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Reliability and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours

The successful candidate will work a variable number of hours per week, between 21 and 40 hours.
