Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Rosslyn Inn & Suites. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day store operations and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in retail or hospitality. Your ability to multitask, think critically, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment will make you an ideal fit for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Workers: Ensure efficient sales floor coverage by assigning tasks to your team members, maximizing productivity and sales opportunities.
  • Authorize Payments: Verify the authenticity of payments by cheque, guaranteeing accuracy and adhering to company policies.
  • Merchandise Return Authorization: Review and approve merchandise return requests, ensuring compliance with store policies and procedures.
  • Work Schedules: Develop and implement effective work schedules that meet business needs while accommodating employee requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, prevent stockouts, and maintain optimal storage conditions.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes, including submitting reports and tracking employee hours.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to office and volunteer staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Supervision

You will supervise a team of 3-4 people, ensuring their growth and development through constructive feedback and performance evaluations.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits. The full-time position requires a 40-hour workweek, with flexible scheduling to accommodate business needs.
