Distribution Center Operations Manager

The Opportunity:
What you will be doing:
As a key member of the Refrigerative Supply Limited team, the Distribution Center Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring that company standards and objectives are met. This role will also involve performing warehouse duties and functions to support inventory integrity, order processing, and general maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize product distribution and achieve company goals.
- Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers to ensure seamless distribution operations.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve distribution center performance.
What we are looking for:
- 5-10 years of leadership experience in a wholesale or distribution environment.
- Proven management and customer service skills.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and culture.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience working with RF scanners and other technology.
- Ability to maintain a business-like manner at all times.
