As a key member of Asana's Data Science team, you will play a vital role in driving business outcomes by leveraging experimentation, causal inference, statistical and machine learning techniques, and data storytelling.

The Data Science team at Asana is instrumental in enabling the company's mission by instilling a data-influenced approach in building the product or business strategy, defining and measuring success metrics, learning and iterating to deliver value to our users. You will closely partner with Product, Business, Design, Engineering, and other members of the Data team to drive more business value.

We are hiring a full-stack data scientist for the AI org, which has a mission to transform Asana by building innovative AI experiences that dramatically improve customers' lives at work. You will empower teams to pioneer the future of work through rapid prototyping and exploration, deliver amazing AI-first experiences that help customers achieve their missions and business objectives, and accelerate Asana's ability to deliver AI experiences through frameworks and tooling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and evangelize strategic analysis to help inform the future of product direction for the AI org
  • Design and analyze experiments and causal analysis to ship impactful product changes that help customers quickly find what they need on Asana
  • Design and develop new datasets and experimentation metrics in our data lake to improve decision-making and velocity

Estimated Salary Range: $176,000 - $224,000 CAD per year
