Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

BC LTD DBA DAIRY QUEEN is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
