Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Statement Specialist to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our Business Enablement Services, you will play a vital role in delivering timely, high-quality financial statements to our clients across various industries.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our client service staff to produce accurate and compliant financial statements.
  • Type or format reports, financial statements, and other documents in accordance with national guidelines.
  • Prepare required correspondence and finalize financial statements.
  • Review and verify content, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Promote document accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Firm standards while meeting deadlines.
  • Work with various formats, including Excel and images, recreating or combining documents as needed.
  • Create PDF files of financial statements and deliverables.
  • Perform Track Changes and Compare functions upon request.
  • Maintain an up-to-date filing system for deliverables.
  • Contribute to special client projects with unique formatting requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong word processing skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Acrobat.
  • Excellent data entry skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize requests.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for internal stakeholder interactions.
  • Service-oriented and detail-focused, capable of working independently and efficiently completing tasks.
  • College diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience in data processing, business, and/or administration.
What We Offer

We provide a supportive work environment that allows our employees to grow professionally and personally. Our competitive salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement savings options.
