Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Comtech Group Inc.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement project plans from inception to completion, working closely with senior project managers and project leads.
  • Provide on-site support during night shifts in occupied buildings and oversee the delivery of projects according to plans.
  • Monitor performance against project requirements, schedules, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs, addressing issues as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to overall scope, schedule, and budget during construction phases.
  • Support RFI and change order processes during construction.
  • Contribute to regular project cost and schedule forecasts, escalating issues to senior management when needed.
  • Maintain good relationships and work closely with all project stakeholders, including clients, general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, etc.
  • Implement risk management and contingency plans.
  • Determine human and material resources required to complete assigned projects or project elements.
  • Develop resource allocation strategies and distribute work and budgets accordingly.
  • Evaluate project effectiveness by consulting with clients and project staff.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management or Construction Management, preferably in a relevant role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Licenses/Certifications: PMP certification is considered an asset.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficient in Microsoft Office, skilled in construction-related software, thorough understanding of prevailing project management methods, expert knowledge of project performance metrics, strong supervision and delegation abilities, capable of detecting and minimizing risks, adept problem-solving skills, ability to relay and receive information effectively.
Working Conditions:

The selected candidate will work in office-based and on-site environments, with a mix of night shifts and early morning day time work.
