  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Household Management: Shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, provide visual accessibility accommodations, provide auditory accessibility accommodations, participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities, offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, and apply accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, and do not require Canadian work experience.

  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities, apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.

Requirements: No degree, certificate, or diploma required. 1 to less than 7 months of experience required. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
