We are seeking an experienced Senior, Dispatcher/Router to join our team at Waste Management. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for communicating with drivers, handling service orders, and resolving issues.
Responsibilities- Optimize complex routes by collaborating with routing specialists, route managers, and the service department.
- Dispatch drivers to calls based on customer needs, driver locations, and daily factors.
- Field incoming calls from customers and manage requests for pick-up or container delivery.
- Initiate outbound calls to customers while drivers are on-site, resolving pick-up and other issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues.
- Record and document information from Drivers and distribute to appropriate departments.
- Communicate with maintenance shop personnel and serve as an emergency point of contact for down wires and other issues.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of previous dispatching experience.
- Additional training in transportation, logistics, or a similar area of study is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple programs and systems.

Estimated Salary$50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on relevant experience, education, and location.
