Job Summary

VShah Foods Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Inventory Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars, receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player.
