About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at VShah Foods Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Table Service: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Food Preparation: Package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with standing for extended periods.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of energy and productivity.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player attitude.
