Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Route Driver Class Az Medwaste Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely movement of clinical and industrial waste, while providing excellent customer service and adhering to all legal compliance issues.

About the Role:

  • Transportation Management: Manage assigned routes to ensure customers' waste is picked up in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Safety First: Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts daily, communicating any issues to the Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher for resolution.
  • Maintenance and Vehicle Operations: Perform pre-trip and post-trip maintenance on assigned trucks before leaving or closing for the day, reporting any maintenance problems to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up.

Requirements:

  • Certifications and Licenses: Must possess a valid Az driver's license and have a clean driving record.
  • Education and Experience: Education equivalent to graduation from high school and one or more years of related experience driving vehicles from at least 5 tons, completion of an accredited driving school is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to use handheld computer devices and communicate effectively with the Stericycle Transportation Supervisor and/or Dispatcher regarding any change to route pickups.
