Job Title: Truck Driver

Join Great Team Logistics as a skilled Truck Driver and contribute to the success of our logistics operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment and GPS systems to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders, providing updates on delivery status and any issues that may arise.
  • Transport and handle hazardous materials, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and valid driver's license.
  • Excellent driving record and ability to pass a driving record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
