Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team at AZ Towing. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a 35 to 40 hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation: Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Task Management: Load and unload goods, perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, overtime required, sitting.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, hardworking.
Work Environment: This position involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes, making it a green job. The work environment is a 35 to 40 hour workweek, with a language of work being English.
