Engine Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Engine Field Service Technician to join our team in Sparwood, British Columbia. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient repair and maintenance of our engine products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Diagnose and repair complex engine issues, utilizing specialized tools and following documented procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities, adhering to schedules and standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians and/or supervisors.
- Complete required documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
- Maintain service vehicles and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification and/or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician - Off Road certification.
- Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
- Locally valid driving permit.
- Basic level field service work experience.
- Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
- Customer service experience.
