Clinical Practice Leader Paediatrics Position

Lakeridge Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Practice Leader to join our team in Paediatrics. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide leadership in clinical and professional practice, education, and research utilization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert clinical consultation for delivery of patient care
- Lead and/or consult on development of corporate and program-based education initiatives
- Plan and deliver intra- and interprofessional education offerings
- Develop accessible education opportunities to support staff participation
- Utilize best available evidence as the basis of all practice, education, and professional leadership activities
- Participate in recruitment and support staff participation in personal and professional career development
- Assist managers with performance appraisals of staff as required
- Perform clinical practice assessments and identify and provide educational support for performance issues and learning gaps
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Education
- Master's degree strongly preferred or evidence of working towards
- Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S) program
- Current PALS required; instructor status an asset
- Proven experience in a practical/clinical role
- Theoretical and practical experience in adult education including educational program planning, development, and evaluation
- Demonstrated experience with program planning and evaluation, and managing organizational change initiatives
- Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven effective leadership and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated effective critical thinking, prioritization, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to travel between LH sites
- Understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices

- Compliance with confidentiality requirements
- Must have a satisfactory performance record
