Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at ROCKWAY ENTERPRISE INC o/a Life Italian Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining room, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Supervise the assembly and delivery of food trays and trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
