About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Merchandise Sales Coordinator to join our team at Superhairpieces. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales operations and ensuring that sales targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Sales Teams: Assign sales workers to duties, supervise their activities, and ensure they have the necessary resources to meet sales targets.
  • Hiring and Training: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, including sales workers and other support personnel.
  • Financial Management: Authorize payments by cheque and manage expenses related to sales operations.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise and authorize its return, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for sales teams and other staff members.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is up-to-date and accurately reflected in the system.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, but candidates with higher education may be preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a sales or retail environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
  • Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
