About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team at YOVU Office Phone. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level technical support to customers via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Assist in monitoring alerts and reacting to issues in a timely manner
  • Log incoming requests and escalate to team members as necessary
  • Keep documentation up to date, including external knowledge base and asset details
  • Provide assistance in onboarding new customers and other moves, adds, or changes
  • Be involved in rotating after-hours on-call support
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as IT or computer science
  • Hands-on experience in IT helpdesk, computer repair, incident management, or building systems from scratch
  • Methodical and analytical problem-solving skills, with a passion for diving deep into challenges
  • Strong technical knowledge, including PC and mobile device troubleshooting, networking basics, and advanced skills
  • Excellent customer interaction skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and consistent contributions to a team environment
  • Industry insight, with a solid understanding of connectivity, hardware, and peripherals
  • Bilingual in English and French (an asset)
