Truck and Transport Mechanic

Job Summary:

Metrobus is seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
