Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Seaboard Transport Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with trucks and trailers
  • Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Work with our team to identify and implement cost-saving measures
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • Licensed journeyperson truck and/or trailer mechanic or Registered apprentice for truck and/or trailer
  • Exceptional mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills and ability to use diagnostic software
